ORGANISATIONAL CHANGES

I recently wrote to you in order to explain the background to the forthcoming changes that are to be made to the management team and I am now writing to update you with the progress made in respect of these changes and to explain a change to the way in which the Book Keeping and Payroll services will operate in the future.

Management Changes

As was explained in my previous letter, we are combining responsibility for all services (Counselling and Day Services) under one role to be called Director of Services. Interviews have been held for this role and I am pleased to announce that an appointment has now been made.

Rob Michael-Phillips will be joining the management team in October and will be based in High Wycombe. Rob is currently working in a management role for a mental health organisation in Oxfordshire. He will be visiting the charity during the course of the next few weeks to start to understand how we operate and to spend time with Donna Hayward-Sussex before she leaves at the end of July.

I would like to welcome Rob ‘on board’ and to wish him every success in his new role.

Book Keeping & Payroll Administration

For many years, Helen Vaughan, who has operated on a self-employed basis, has supplied these services.

We have now decided to bring these services in-house and Helen is in the process of handing over her responsibilities to Daphne Welford, Office Manager, based at Head Office in Temple Street.

Although Helen will continue to work alongside Daphne until the end of the year all key files have now been transferred to Head Office and henceforth all book keeping and payroll administration queries should be directed to Daphne.

I would like to thank Helen for all her work on behalf of the charity and to acknowledge her long association with us.
