LIFE SKILLS - GUIDANCE INTO WORK

The prospect of starting work presents everyone with new challenges. These are not so different from those you tackle any other day of your life.

Attending a course on life skills is a great opportunity to learn to be better equipped to deal with what comes your way particularly if you are recovering from mental health difficulties.

The life skills course on offer will help you discover beliefs, values and attitudes that build your self-confidence. This will enable you to achieve your goals, like getting back to work in an accomplishable manner.

Topics that will be covered in this 6-session course will be:

How to manage your time so you get everything done and still have time to play.
How to manage your finances, balance your books and have control over your money.
Learn about stress and how to handle it better.
Learn how to relax quickly and effectively.
Improve your communication skills for better relationships and reduction in conflict situations.
Discover what is really important to you so you can maximise your time and effort into pursuing your dreams…. not someone else’s.
The importance of achieving a life and work balance and how to move towards one that works for you.
Getting a better quality of life.
