Description: Mental health admission/assessment ward offering treatment to individuals experiencing acute mental distress. Portland is an open ward which generally admits individuals from Central West CMHT and South West CMHT e.g. High Wycombe. At present Portland also offers admissions to individuals from the Assertive Outreach Team (Aylesbury). Portland can care for individuals admitted under the Mental Health Act.
