Description: Psychological therapies aim to help people overcome their problems by gaining an understanding of what is causing or maintaining their difficulties and to use this understanding to find better ways of dealing with them. Undertaking these therapies requires engagement and commitment. The following psychological therapies are provided at the Tindal Centre: Individual and Group Psychoanalytical/Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the Aylesbury section of the integrated Mid and South Bucks Psychotherapy Department. Specialist Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and a range of psychological therapy services are available from within the CMHTs.
