On Sunday 16th July, Buckinghamshire Mind held a benefit gig, Busk for Bucks Mind, at Shoot Aylesbury, to raise funds for its vital mental health services.

The event, sponsored by Esri UK Ltd, featured a host of incredible musical talent, both acoustic and electric, including Callow Saints, The Other Dramas, Second Rate Angels, Circa Never, Judah Gayle, Nighjar, Harry Quinn, Suzy B, JP and Betty, Róisín Johnston, Dan Thomas, The Recovered and Jim Marvin.

Funds were raised through ticket sales and donations given by the many generous supporters who attended the event.

“Busk for Bucks Mind was hugely successful, particularly in terms of raising awareness of mental health and Buckinghamshire Mind,” says Kaya Mallinder, Fundraising and Communications Officer for Buckinghamshire Mind. “We hope everyone had a really good time. Buckinghamshire Mind would like to thank all the people who came along to support us and enjoy the superb music.”

Special thanks to our sponsors, Esri UK Ltd, all the talented musicians who performed at the event, Shoot Aylesbury for the fantastic venue, Moonlite Productions for providing highly professional sound engineering, technical support and equipment, and our wonderful volunteers for helping the event to run smoothly.
