Lorraine originally worked as a research scientist and then as a business analyst and project manager in the chemicals industry. After a career lasting 20 years, she left to pursue a consultancy business, also working in the field of projects and change, and as a leadership coach. For the past 20 years, Lorraine has also been a governor and trustee in schools across Buckinghamshire and has supported many other schools in neighbouring counties. This work has led to an interest in mental health and wellbeing, especially in children and young adults.
Lorraine is honoured to become a trustee at Buckinghamshire Mind and is looking forward to supporting their work in Buckinghamshire and East Berkshire.
Lorraine has lived in Buckinghamshire for over 30 years and is married with three adult daughters. She enjoys gardening and walking and completed the 186 miles of the Thames path in 2016.
