Congratulations and a massive thank you to the everyone who took part in the climb to the top of Mount Snowdon in aid of Bucks Mind on Saturday 29th April.

The team of 26 of people were from Bucks Council’s Neighbourhood Services, along with some partners and friends.

When the team reached the summit, the smiles on their faces and the sense of achievement is clear to see. Some members of the group were up and down in an impressive 4 hours and some of took a bit longer at 6-7 hours. Once the fog finally lifted the sun shone upon the team for the descent, with the absolutely sunning views making the experience worthwhile.

Climbing any mountain is always a challenge especially when people have different levels of fitness and motivation. However, as a group we are so proud of what we have achieved and we have exceeded our fund raising target of £1,000 and are now almost at £2,000! We would absolutely love the £2,000 threshold to be surpassed by the end of the month, so there is still time to donate if you wish! No matter the amount or whether it’s anonymously or not, please donate if you can via the link below. The donation page will close on 31st May 2023. To those that have donated already thank you very much for your support and generosity.

We are so grateful to everyone who took part in this challenge, what an incredible achievement and an amazing amount to raise for Bucks Mind’s mental health services.
