This week we’re celebrating Local Mind Week. We’re your local Mind and we’re here for you.

We support thousands of people with their mental health in Buckinghamshire and East Berkshire. Last year we supported 6869 people, with 92% feeling less isolated and more connected as a result. 87% of people who accessed our services were better able to manage their mental health and 84% felt that their mental health is improving following this support.

Everyone’s mental health is different, so we shape our support around you. That might be life-changing therapy, a support group, a reassuring chat, or introducing you to people who really understand – either way, we try to be here when you need us most.

We’re an independent charity run by local people for local people. We raise our own funds and make our own decisions about how we use them.

Every penny raised in aid of Buckinghamshire Mind is spent locally. This means when you support us, you’re helping your friends, family, and neighbours right here in Buckinghamshire and East Berkshire.

And we’re not doing it alone. We’re proud to be part of a network of local Minds across England, Wales and the Channel Islands.

We share ideas and learn from each other. We all work together under the Mind umbrella – rooted in our local communities and connected across our nations.

You can help us to do more locally by making a donation, fundraising for us or volunteering for us.

Quote from a person supported by our peer support services. "I can't begin to tell you the difference these groups have made to my life. I had lost all hope. I am so grateful to join these activities and make friends."
