All of us at Buckinghamshire Mind would like to wish you a peaceful festive season and joyous New Year.

 

The Bucks Mind telephone line will be open until 3.30pm on Tuesday 23rd  December. It will then be closed until Monday 5th January.

Most of our services are open up to and including Tuesday 24th December. They will then be closed over Christmas and New Year, reopening on Friday 2nd January 2026.

Community Services in Bucks

  • Kooth: Online mental health wellbeing community for your people https://www.kooth.com/ Live chat is open every day (12noon-10pm weekdays and 6pm-10pm weekends). Festive opening hours: Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve 12noon-8pm, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day 4pm-8pm

  • Helping Hand: 01296 531151, [email protected]. Anyone worried about food or warmth over the Christmas holidays, and not sure what help is available, can contact Bucks Council’s Helping Hand support line (above). This line is open 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9am – 5pm on Friday. The support line is closed on Christmas day and Boxing Day, but the out of hours team can be contacted in emergencies on 0800 999 7677.
