Buckinghamshire Mind celebrates being chosen as Chesham United AFC’s continued charity partner for the 2022-23 football season.

The partnership will continue to raise awareness of mental health among the club, fans and the greater Buckinghamshire community. Chesham United AFC is passionate about raising the profile of Buckinghamshire Mind, supporting the charity where possible by raising vital funds for local mental health services.

Over the season the club will help Buckinghamshire Mind promote key mental health messages as well as some wonderful upcoming events which will be highlighted in due course.

Peter Brown, Chesham United AFC Chairman, stated:

As a football club it is so important that we play our part in the community above and beyond just fielding a semi-professional team and spectator base, which is why we are thrilled to continue our partnership with Buckinghamshire Mind. Mental health should no longer be a hidden concern and we look forward to helping Bucks Mind break down stigmas around this.

We have hundreds of players, supporters and helpers associated with the club and we want to further foster this relationship with Buckinghamshire Mind to encourage our community to support their mental health and to reach out for support when needed.

Buckinghamshire Mind is delighted to collaborate for a second year and beyond with Chesham United AFC.

We look forward to attending the home game at The Meadow on Saturday 22nd October, 3pm kick off. Come to the match to support the club and stop by and say hello at the Bucks Mind stand.
