Many of us have been spending a lot more time at home to help limit the spread of Coronavirus and keep us safe. To look after our wellbeing, there are lots of activities we can do without going out that are fun and help us feel good – including crafting!

That’s why we’re inviting you to host your own Virtual Crafternoon.

Crafternoon is an opportunity to hold an afternoon of crafting with friends and family, helping to bring people together with a fun activity that is good for wellbeing, and fundraising at the same time – and you can do all this virtually!

All you need is some basic supplies and a tablet, computer or phone, and you’ll be ready to go. Whether it’s handmade cards, happy jars, or your own favourite craft, our guide will give you all the tips you need to set up your own Virtual Crafternoon.

By hosting your own Virtual Crafternoon, you’ll be able to do something creative and stay connected, whilst helping raise funds for better mental health.

Your support will help us be there for everyone experiencing a mental health problem during these difficult times – whether they’re struggling with isolation, anxious about their or their loved one’s health or fighting on the frontline to save lives.

In the midst of a pandemic that has claimed tens of thousands of lives, the mental health of millions of people is suffering. Your donation will help us to reach out to continue to provide essential support services and be there for people who need us. Just £5 pays for creative materials for people to use in counselling sessions, while £20 will train a volunteer to be a Befriender.
