Our Older Adults’ Service is continuing to support our service users during these challenging times. This week we have sent a Reminiscence Pack to all those who normally attend our Park and Pippin Clubs.

The theme of the pack is ‘The Seaside’, where we invite our service users to join us in welcoming the coming summer months, as well as thinking back over summers past; particularly those spent at the seaside.

The Pack contains facts about the summer, seaside memorabilia, a history of traditional seaside holidays and activities, questions aimed at encouraging readers to use their senses and recall memories of their own summer holidays and much more.

At Buckinghamshire Mind we continue to create and develop innovative ways of delivering remote mental wellbeing support that focuses on tackling social isolation and promoting positive emotional wellbeing. Sending out Reminiscence Packs to our Older Adults’ service users is just one of the ways in which we are providing support remotely.
