Time to Talk Day is on Thursday 2nd February and is run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness in England, in partnership with Co-op.

Every year, 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem, which is why it’s so important to make time to talk.  The UK-wide campaign day is all about creating supportive communities by having conversations with family, friends, or colleagues about mental health.

We know the more conversations we have, the better life is for everyone. So make time in your day for a conversation about mental health.

Talking about mental health isn’t always easy, but a conversation has the power to change lives. Even a simple text message to a friend can start a conversation and make a difference.

There are lots of tips and ideas for how to start a conversation about mental health available for free here: www.timetotalkday.co.uk/tips-to-talk. You can even try out Interactive Bingo or a True or False quiz. These are great ways to get people talking in your workplace, in community groups or even down the pub with your mates.
