A huge thank you to the interns at Travelport, who have raised over £3,400 for Buckinghamshire Mind. This is an incredible achievement, particularly given that many of their fundraising activities could not take place due to the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.

The interns at Travelport chose Buckinghamshire Mind as one of their nominated charities for the year and fundraised through a variety of activities over 13 months.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who supported Buckinghamshire Mind at Travelport during what has been a hugely difficult time for the travel industry. The energy and enthusiasm with which all the interns undertook their fundraising was very inspiring.

The funds raised will be used to support people with mental health problems throughout the county.

Buckinghamshire Mind relies on community fundraising, which underpins our vital mental health services. With so much of our fundraising events and activities cancelled or postponed due to lockdown restrictions, fundraising such as this makes an incredible difference, ensuring we can be here to support our community’s mental health needs in the months to come.
