Event name: Isle of Wight Challenge
Date: 4-5 May 2024
Start Location: Chale
Distance: 10 miles, 25km, 53km or 106km

The Island is easy to get to with good transport links. Its coastal path is the setting for an unforgettable challenge, which 2,000 or so adventurers will take on over the Bank Holiday weekend. From the Chale basecamp in the south, it’s clockwise to Cowes and on through the historic resorts in the south for the 106km ‘full Island’ challenge. With 3/4. 1/2 and 1/4 half Island options also, new ‘Cross Island’ & ‘Medina 10 mile’ events, plus camping packages – there’s a fantastic active weekend challenge for all!

Event name: Jurassic Coast Challenge
Date: 18-19 May 2024
Start Location: Dorset
Distance: 10km, 25km, 34km, 42km, 58km, 76km or 100km

Spectacular World Heritage coastline and an amazing challenge with distance options for all! This is one of the best Ultra Challenges – a tough one – but the most popular, as there’re distance options to suit all.  From the Corfe Castle start, the main route heads down to Swanage and along to Weymouth at half way for the 100km full challenge, with lots of ups and downs – and then on to a welcome finish line celebration in the vibrant Dorset town of Bridport.

Event name: London to Brighton Challenge
Date: 25-26 May 2024
Start Location: Capital to Sussex Coast
Distance: 25km, 42km, 58km, 75km or 100km

A favourite route for vintage cars and cycles – and the original Ultra Challenge – now in its 11th year, with a varied 60% off-road route and a classic challenge. A Richmond start, on towards the North Downs and then through wonderful Surrey and Sussex countryside to Turners Hill at halfway (with optional camping). The full 100km challenge heads up and over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline and the racecourse finish line. There’s distance options to suit all.

Event name: Lake District Challenge
Date: 8-9 June 2024
Start Location: Kendal
Distance: 10lm, 29km, 42km, 50km or 100km

Take on and enjoy some of England’s finest countryside at your pace. From the convenient Kendal basecamp (with optional camping) the full 100km route is an anti-clockwise loop taking in a few tough hills and fells, Ambleside, Lake Windermere at halfway (with hostel accommodation option) nature reserves and forests  – with stunning views en-route – and distance options to suit all adventurers.

Event name: Cotswold Way Challenge
Date: 22-23 June 2024
Start Location: Cirencester
Distance: 10km, 25km, 47km, 53km,76km or 100km

A spectacular 100km looped route from the new basecamp in Cirencester – the ‘capital’ of the Cotswolds – which takes in some fabulous scenery. Stunning views, idyllic villages and rolling hills – it’s easy to access, plenty of parking and there’s onsite pre-event University-style accommodation at basecamp. A testing challenge, with some tough climbs in the first half, and rewards with a real sense of achievement.

Event name: Peak District Challenge
Date: 6-7 July 2024
Start Location: Bakewell
Distance: 10 miles, 25km, 50km, 73 or 100km

2,000 adventurers will be welcomed into the fabulous Peak District National Park and the major ‘Basecamp’ hub set-up in idyllic Bakewell, with a range of camping options, hospitality and local accommodation. The full 100km Challenge takes in a varied figure of eight route through Derbyshire’s finest scenery with wonderful views. With 50km, 25km and 10 mile distance options passing Chatsworth House, there’s a Peaks Challenge for all.

Event name: North Downs Ultra Challenge
Date: 27 July 2024
Start Location: Guildford, Surrey
Distance: 10km, 25km or 50km

The popular ‘North Downs 50’ was back again for 2023 – with a new start and finish basecamp venue in Guildford – and was a fantastic event.  The looped route takes in some of the North Downs Way, the Surrey Hills and the magnificent views over the countryside to the south. This is a fantastic mid-summer challenge – with good access from London and the surrounding area, plus looped routes for easy logistics and optional adjacent University-style accommodation.

Event name: South West Coast 50 Challenge
Date: 3 August 2024
Start Location: Dunster, Exmoor
Distance: 10km, 25km or 50km

This challenge was new for 2022 and proved to be a real gem. From basecamp in the shadow of Dunster Castle, the route takes in the fabulous 1st section of the 630 mile SW Coastal Path – from Minehead to Porlock, with fantastic views out towards Wales. Then it’s up and over scenic Exmoor via Dunkery Beacon as you head back to basecamp after an unforgettable 50km and testing 1600 metres of climb. With camping options, BBQ, bar, entertainment and beaches nearby, it’s a summer highlight not to miss.

Event name: London Summer Walk
Date: 24 August 2024
Start Location: East London and Thames
Distance: 25km

Explore the ‘gateway to London’ along the River Thames eastern section. Starting by Woolwich Royal Artillery Barracks, the NEW 25km looped route heads along the Thames Path around Greenwich Peninsula – past the O2, Old Royal Naval College and Cutty Sark – through the Greenwich tunnel to Docklands and Thames Barrier Park – back to Woolwich via the 2nd foot tunnel. A route steeped in history and capped with a BBQ and bar at the finish – and a great summer Bank Holiday weekend adventure.

Event name: South Coast Challenge
Date: 7-8 September 2024
Start Location: South Downs Way
Distance: 25km, 43km, 57km or 100km

The South Downs National Park is a superb backdrop for 2000 adventurers to take on a real challenge. An Eastbourne start, up Beachy Head, the magnificent Seven Sisters, and along the South Downs Way, with stunning views over the sea, to a Brighton half-way. Devil’s Dyke, and a few ups and downs lie ahead before historic Arundel comes into view after an amazing 100 km journey. You’ll get full support and hospitality all the way – and with half and quarter distance options available – there’s a South Coast Ultra Challenge for everyone.

Event name: Thames Moonlight Walk
Date: 13 September 2024
Start Location: Central London to Vauxhall
Distance: 10km or 10 miles

The walk kicks off the Thames Path Challenge festival of events on Friday evening. Take on a spirited 10km or an energetic 10 mile looped route through the heart of London as darkness falls, passing famous landmarks – including St Paul’s, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, the London Eye and more. A lively finish awaits – with some fizz, a ‘Moon medal’, some welcome hot food and drink. Perfect to join with friends after work for an active evening on the town.

Event name: Thames Path Challenge
Date: 14-15 September 2024
Start Location: Putney Bridge to Henley
Distance: Henley 10km, 25km, 50km or 100km

Take on England’s greatest river with a ‘flat’ 100km route heading out from Putney Bridge, past Hampton Court to Runnymede (of Magna Carta fame) at the 50km halfway. For the full challenge, it’s on to Windsor and then past wonderful historic scenery and countryside to Henley.

Event name: Thames Bridges Trek
Date: 14 September 2024
Start Location: Putney Bridge to Tower Bridge
Distance: 25km

Venture across the Capital with unrivalled views of the skyline. Setting out from Putney Bridge – it’s East towards the City, zig-zagging over 16 of London’s historic bridges – each with its own fascinating story, and with a mid-point refreshment stop at The Oval for some snacks and drinks. 25km later, it’s a finish line celebration and some food in Southwark Park, beyond the majestic Tower Bridge, where a big cheers, some fizz, a medal, food and a celebration await.

Event name: Chiltern 50 Challenge
Date: 28 September 2024
Start Location: Chiltern Hills
Distance: 10km, 25km or 50km

The end of season challenge takes in some of the best of the wonderful Chilterns countryside, with historic trails, nature reserves, forests and a few hills with fantastic views. Starting and finishing at the basecamp near Henley on Thames, there’s a Saturday night celebration BBQ, bar and entertainment, with extensive on-site weekend camping and parking options.

Event name: Kent Downs 50 Challenge
Date: 12 October 2024
Start Location: Kent Downs
Distance: 10km, 25km or 50km

A NEW  Ultra Challenge in the ‘Garden of England’, with a basecamp near Maidstone, parking and weekend camping options. The main 50km looped route heads anticlockwise around the Kent Downs – starting on the North Downs Way to Blue Bell Hill, around picturesque Aylesford, and following the River Medway to Mote Park at halfway for a picnic. Along the Len Valley Walk to the majestic Leeds
Castle, then the North Downs Way back to the showground finish line and celebration.

Event name: Halloween Walk
Date: 26 October 2024
Start Location: Central London
Distance: 10km or 25km

A hair-raising hike around some of the City’s scary streets and historic haunts! Gather your bravest guys and ghouls to make up a team – or go it alone if you dare and meet other chilling challengers. Dress to distress, and our creepy dungeon keepers at The Oval Cricket Ground basecamp start and finish will meet, greet and shock! Once you escape there’s ghostly looped routes, with zombie rest stops. And if you manage to get back in one piece, there’s a macabre medal, a glass of the Devil’s fizz and some horrific hot food and drink.
