Next week is Local Mind Week. We’re your local Mind and we’re here for you. No two lives are the same. Neither is the support you need. That’s why your local Mind shapes support around you. We need your help to continue to deliver our wide range of mental health services. Please donate today.

“It has improved my life in every way.”

Every year we support thousands of people with their mental health in Buckinghamshire and East Berkshire. Last year we supported 6347 people, with 91% reporting an improvement in their overall wellbeing, 83% feeling better equipped to manage their own mental health and 82% feeling less isolated and more connected.

Everyone’s mental health is different, so we shape our support around you. We deliver person-centred mental health support that’s rooted in community and built around real lives.

The people we support tell us that our services make a real and genuine difference to their lives.

The service has had a significant positive impact. It has been a major source of support. I’m not sure where I would be without it. I have valued having someone to talk to regularly and found this emotionally helpful.

Every local Mind is an independent charity, run by local people. We raise our own funds and make our own decisions about how we use them. Every penny raised in aid of Buckinghamshire Mind is spent locally. This means when you support us, you’re helping your friends, family, and neighbours right here in Buckinghamshire and East Berkshire.

You can help us to continue to help local people by making a donation or fundraising for us.

If you’d like to fundraise for us, that would be amazing! We’d love to hear from you and we’ll support you every step of the way. Please contact [email protected]

The text is two quotes from people we support: "Safe Haven makes me feel safe, protected and listened to. I'm able to express how I'm feeling. People are always to knowledgeable, understanding and reassuring. A lifeline." "I feel liked, cared for and safe at Peer Support Bucks. It has made such a difference to my life."
We’re proud to be part of a network of local Minds across England, Wales and the Channel Islands. We share ideas and learn from each other. We all work together under the Mind umbrella – rooted in our local communities and connected across our nations.
