If you are worried about your mental health or your partners mental health and how this is impacting them during the perinatal period, please discuss your concerns with your GP, Health Visitor or midwife, who can refer on your behalf to the NHS Perinatal Team.

We offer perinatal support in partnership with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.
Our Perinatal Community Support Worker is part of the NHS Perinatal Team, based in the Whiteleaf Centre in Aylesbury, and covers the whole of Buckinghamshire.
Who is this suitable for?
We support women who are pregnant or have given birth in the past 12 months who have mental health needs.
What can I expect?
Support, which can be short or long-term, consists of:
- 1:1 support to access community groups
- Befriending
- Help with benefits and signposting for finance issues such as debt
- Signposting for employment support
- Short-term and long-term support
All support is planned according to each person’s individual circumstances.
Fees
There is no charge as the service.
How can I access this service?
To access this service, please speak to your GP, Health Visitor or Midwife about a referral to the NHS Perinatal Team.
