Community Based Support

Community Based Support COVID-19 Update

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic we at Buckinghamshire Mind are closely following the Government’s guidelines on health and safety measures regarding social distancing.

Our Information and Options Workers are continuing to provide remote support via phone calls and signposting to community based support services.

The Perinatal Support Service has mostly returned to remote support via phone and online session (via Teams). However, in exceptional circumstances we are also providing socially distanced face-to-face support with one-to-one walks.

Our Recovery Focused Groups for Service Users are continuing to provide online Zoom groups (social, yoga and exercise), Music Group videos (via YouTube), support through phone calls and our closed Facebook group as well as sending out monthly care packages. All face-to-face groups have been suspended for the moment.

Buckinghamshire Mind has worked in partnership with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust since 2016, providing community based mental health services. To find out more about these services, please click on the links below.
