Supporting Your Employment Journey

 

 

The Employment Support service provides flexible support tailored towards individual’s needs. We offer guidance and specific support aimed at assisting an individual progress on their employment journey.

We work one to one with individuals on activities such as:

  • CV writing
  • Interview skills
  • Applying for jobs
  • Identifying suitable work
  • Identifying training needs/accessing training
  • Goal setting
  • Improving confidence and wellbeing
  • Ad hoc support on other issues affecting their ability to progress
  • Accessing other support services

There are two projects accessible within the Employment Support Service – The Building Futures Project (which is aimed at unemployed individuals who are looking to return to work, education, or training) and The Stay Inspired Project (which is aimed at individuals who may be in work and looking for support to stay in work, progress in their role, or change careers).

The Eligibility Criteria for the Building Futures Project are:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Be unemployed
  • Be a Buckinghamshire resident or able to travel into Buckinghamshire for support

The Eligibility Criteria for the Stay Inspired Project are:

 

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Be a Buckinghamshire resident or able to travel into Buckinghamshire for support
  • Are experiencing or have experienced a mental health problem
