Bucks Mind – Befriending

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Our Befriending Service offer both one to one and group support to adults who are lonely or isolated because of mental illness. Our befriending co-ordinators recruit and train volunteers who then form ‘partnerships’ with people from the local community. These can be short or long term and can focus on a specific activity or learning a skill or purely for regular social contact. Co-ordinators, volunteers and clients then all work together to identify the necessary steps to achieve identified goals.
